Drie Gebroders is a 50ft Dutch tjalk built in 1914 at the shipyard of Minne Moles van der Werf in Sneek, Holland. She was originally used as a sailing cargo ship on the Frisian canals, until 1961/62 when she was rebuilt/converted to a traditional Dutch barge sailing yacht at the famous shipyard of I.Blom in Hindeloopen (still well known for outstanding yacht design). At that time Drie was short...

Hoop Op Welvaart is a 1907 Dutch Tjalk completely renovated to an extremely high standard between 2015 and today. No expense spared and was to be a forever home but life circumstances have reluctantly forced the sale. Sailed over to the UK in the late 80's this Tjalk has lived an interesting life and was once a working Sailing Barge delivering various goods around the coast of Holland. Tonnage book and some old documents are still with her.
Pretty much self sufficient with wind turbine, loads of solar PV and thermal water and back boiler with thermal store so extremely low bills!

Grietje is a wonderfully looked after original sailing Dutch Tjalk that has been converted into a two/three bedroom liveaboard. Built in 1898 by DREWS HOOGEZAND as a working vessel, she is an originally riveted iron hull that has been fully over platted with 6mm steel. The vessel has been drydocked in 2021, with a full 35,000 PSI blast/strip back to a WJ2 standard. This stunning looking barge is desperate for a good home. She will need extensive interior work including an engine rebuild , possibly new engine hence asking price.
She retains many of her original features including ornate art work and sculptured items including a beautiful lion, sat on the rudder.
For only 22ft, she boasts a large cabin with galley with sink to port and cooker space to starboard and 2 large single bunks either side. The centre table folds down to make a double bunk for special nights away! The gas lamp and electric lighting adds to the ambience.
