‘Cheybassa’ was taken out of the water Easter 2021 for a full refit where she was painted from top to bottom (inside & out), antifouled and serviced. The engine has been well maintained and starts first time, every time. It’s also extremely economical. ‘Cheybassa’ was the name of the first steam-powered boat to take migrants to Australia in 1874. The name pops up a lot in Australia such as The Cheybassa Café, The Cheybassa Hotel and The Cheybassa Nursing Home. She is ideal for the river and handles beautifully at sea making her perfect for families, costal cruising and trips across the channel to the French canals.
