Steam Tug which has been in our family since the 70's. She has been featured in the Steam Boat Assoc. publication "The Funnel"a number of times. Engine dates from before 1900 and had Stephenson linkage added at later stage for forward and reverse. Selling due to lack of time and other projects, it would be great to get her back on the water. The boiler and PRV would need certification for insurance and it would be best to bring a trailer as the one that she is on dates from when we first got her. Ex-Tanker Barge was 47.5 x 6.6mtr. Built in 1962 by James W Cook and has now been professionally shortened to 23.48 mtr and retains the original crew accommodation,engine and bow section. Original engine is a Lister Blackstone ER6MGR2 HP337 at 750rpm which is in working order and the barge could be converted to comprise of a lower accommodation deck, spacious mid level living and crew area with the wheelhouse above giving great visibility for cruising.
