Kingfisher (As the River Lea and the Stort mascot) was surveyed and blacked out May 2023.

Internal Dimensions are: H 178cm, W 223cm, L 640cm. Wheelhouse is L362cm

Between 2022 and now, it has been fully stripped down to the metal, any rust has been cleaned, and metal has been replaced where necessary with a new extension shower cabin in metal added with shower plate and walls.
It has been fully insulated, clad, fitted with a 28mm solid wood flooring, and had a reconditioned collapsible wheelhouse.
Walls and ceiling are freshly painted white and the walls and ceiling cladding is left unstained to allow for your creative touch.

It comes with:
6 x 110 AMP leisure batts, 2 x 350W solar panels, MPPT controller, and a 1000w Inverter all connected.
1 bilge pump, 1 fresh water automatic pump, shower plate, 2 burners camping hobs, gas water heater, mint condition Hardy 5 Multifuel Stove, New 200L Water tanks with new automatic pump and Buttler sink.
Sound Indenor engine and Paragon Gearbox.

The barge is currently on the Lea River and it would make a perfect simple project to finish in the summer for somebody with little time and skills. I am still doing some painting and decorating, plumbing, and other jobs to finish it up to have it ready to sell in the summer at a higher price but if the right person comes before, I’ll lower the final price.
