Le Saphir, Constructed by Locaboat industries in 1984 is one of the most successful classic reliable and easy boats for the canals and waterways of France. Built for safety and ease, these boats are simple to operate. Ideal for single handed navigation and easy for two persons. Safe with walkway and rails all around. Shallow draft of 0.5 metres this boat can navigate and tie up in places other boats cannot reach. Step through wheelhouse onto the lock walls and throw your ropes.
This boat has had interior upgrade and is very comfortable for two people. Bright and airy interior in white. It has a fixed single bed for an extra person and the option of converting the kitchen dinette for an additional two persons. Ideal 2 person boat can accommodate 5. The shower room is seperate from the toilet and wash basin.
In the same ownership for 17 years, this has been a fantastic easy holiday adventure boat. The engine has done low hours and is economic on fuel. The boat has been self sufficient in electricity and rarely plugged into main power supply.
