Description

A 10m Traditional Dutch design of steel sailing barge, built in 1979 in Huitema, Holland. She carries a traditional Gaff rig and has leeboards. Shallow flat bottom (less than metre). Ideal for cruising around in the shallow Estuaries and rivers. Well fitted out accommodation, a very workable interior, would make a comfy liveaboard. Headroom of 5ft 11ins
She has an all paint finish, August 2023 to complete the refurbishment of her paint work inside and out and re-varnishing.
She is a real credit to her owner. Viewing by arrangement. Recommended.

Accommodation

Generous open aft cockpit with varnished wooden topped stowage locker/ bench seating.
A varnished timber and glazed aft bulkhead to the accommodation. Several opening portlights throughout the cabin accommodation.
A companionway with a set of steps a sliding hatch over.
Good headroom over the galley set to port @ 6ft reducing to 5ft in the forepeak. Forward is a "U" shaped seating around a dining table (4th bunk). Galley sink elctric water pump. and a gas hob ( 2 x 3.9ltr gas bottles stowed in vented cockpit locker. . Electric fridge.
To starboard there is a Navigation chart table.
Under the mast deck. A new Reflex stove was installed 2019 with a separate fuel
tank., opposite a separate heads compartment.
In fore cabin a double berth to port plus a single berth opposite, (used for sail stowage)
Glazed fore hatch over.
Carpeted throughout, purpose built Dutch styled fixtures and fittings.
Water tanks replaced, a Jabsco sea toilet added.
Presently under repainting / re-varnishing exterior hull.

Construction

Welded steel, square chine, flat bottomed hull with a keel.
Steel decks, steel superstructure.
All paint finished. Open aft cockpit. Wheel steering from the aft deck. Transom hung rudder and emergency extendable tiller. Wooden leeboards.

2008 new engine installed. Stainless steel fuel tank.
Located under the cockpit sole. Electric start from battery. Fresh water cooled.
Last serviced in October 2021, Oil change 2022.

Carries a traditional gaff mainsail, Barge rig with bowsprit.
White fore sail, Tan main sail. Jib, all Dutch made. A light weather Reaching Jib made new by North Sea Sails. Traditional wooden blocks and tackle.
A solid wooden deck stepped varnished mast, in painted steel tabernacle.
Wooden gaff and boom. A fixed wooden bowsprit
Stainless steel standing rigging
Hempex synthetic running rigging.
