Bolle Beer was built in Holland in 1927 as a commercial carrying boat. She traded until the late 1960s when she got converted to a liveaboard. In 1989, Bolle Beer was transported to the UK and operated as a trip boat on the River Weaver from Northwich Town Centre.
By 2005, work started to refit Bolle Beer back to a residential boat. The interior was completed stripped, reinsulated and refitted to a very high standard.
