A beautiful example of a 1922 Luxemotor, this still has original loading crane and winches. It was converted for livaboard in the 1950s with steel superstructure and has been considerately fitted out over the last 15 years using a mix of reclaimed materials to provide a cosy characterful home.
Dirk is currently 2 berth, utilising the stern quarters as a generous cabin with king size bed, under bed storage and other fitted and freestanding furniture.
The wheelhouse, which has been built to be collapsible but needs appropriate roof panels to allow cruising, offers a glorious room for dining and entertaining and watching the world go by.
The Leyland 6 cylinder engine ,(Daf 475) is working but needs recomissioned. An exhaust system will need to be added. All these jobs are on the list but new baby is forcing sale before these are likely to be completed. The gearbox is a paragon which has been fully rebuilt with documentation.
The galley is down the stairs, with vintage aluminium Paul Metalcraft kitchen units. Lots of cupboard space and retro range cooker.
The salon is a lovely comfortable size with full size three seater sofa and space for chairs and storage. Currently a play area for a toddler. The woodburning stove is a Much Wenlock 6kw with equivilent backboiler running 4 radiators and calorfier.
The head has a decent size corner bath, washbasin and chemical toilet.
The other room adjecent is currently a pantry but would work as a study, office or small woirkshop. THere is access to the front deck here too.
The front storage is approx 4m x 2.5m, fully sprayfoamed.
The boat was sprayfoamed with 50mm throughout and pine panelled.
It was surveyed in October 2021.

The private mooring is very spacious and being the end boat has a large well kept gargen area with lawn, wood store and vegetable plots. Its a very secure and sociable community and is rare to find in this area.
