Description
This 1923 Beurtmotor 63 Dutch Barge Sudersee has been described as possibly the most beautifully designed barge on the Thames. Built to transport agricultural goods along the Netherland’s extensive canals and waterways, Sudersee is one of a kind and now provides a large, light, custom-built wheelhouse, open dining area under a canopy at the stern, modern galley and two cabins. She is the perfect place to spend time on the water. The design of the barge is characterised by its long flat body and shallow draft allowing it to navigate shallow waters with ease which makes it perfect for use on the Thames or other inland waterways. Today many Beurtmotor 63 Dutch Barges have been converted into houseboats or recreational vessels offering a unique and charming way to experience life on the water.
