17.10m (55'3") x 3.18m (10'05"), 1924, 1 x DAF diesel 120hp, steel construction. 4 berth: Forecabin (2 berth) & aft cabin (2 berth);wheelhouse w/washing machine; bathroom w/ shower, sink & sea toilet; and a living area consisting of a fully fitted kitchen leading to open plan lounge area with a 'Rosieres' top feed multi-fuel stove. Good hull & engine, new electrics, plumbing, shower, plus new exterior paint and mahogany wood-work. Many iroko framed windows and hatches provide an airy light boat.
Margriet is a very pretty traditional Dutch barge of the 'luxemotor' design. Originally, she would have been used to ferry dairy product along the inland and coastal waterways of Holland. She travelled to the UK in 2001 and settled in Zone 2 London where she has provided her current owners with a lovely lifestyle. She is a beautifully proportioned vessel and is an excellent example of its type. |

Classic Dutch Barge.40 feet by 9 feet.
This barge is lined out with the shower and kitchen needing to be finished she has three rooms and two multi fuel stoves.The hull has been re-blacked with new anodes fitted and the top has been repainted about three months ago.
The engine is a mercedes benz 100 hp and has been extensively overhauled and in excellent condition.
These boats typically sell for around £4500 when finished.
This is a regretful sale due to work circumstances, she needs to be sold, any serious offers considered. |
