Classic Groninger Tjalk for sale due present owner retiring. Charlotte Anne is a tastefully converted, Dutch Canal Barge currently lying in Nancy, FRANCE. Interior consists of two large sleeping cabins, both with emperor sized double beds and ensuite facilities. The barge has been our own home for the past 2 years during which we have cruised the canals of North Eastern France. Technically, she is in excellent condition. 1933 Leeds Liverpool Short Boat, built by Yarwoods of Northwich. Now retired Passenger Boat 2008, excellent for live aboard conversion or use as 12 seater resteraunt boat.
Existing working engine Gardner 2LW electric start replaced Widdup in 1941, in excellent condition fully serviced with Gardner 2UC reversing box and 2to1 reduction box. Propshaft (SS), stern bearing and propellor replaced new from Crowther Marine in 2005, New 12kva Northern Lights Generator installed 2004 (2800hrs).
