Built 1928 in Holland, converted c 1970 to sea-going
passenger fishing trip vessel. The 165hp GM engine is in good working order.
We bought her in 2004 and have made further convertions: addition of skylight hatches, new ceilings, new double cabin in bows, and new diesel and water tanks.
Now we have a real home! 3 bedroom cabins - 2 doubles, 1 single; Large open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen (gas hob and oven);
WC/shower and immersion heater; diesel-powered central heating from Kabola boiler, regularly serviced; wheel house presently serving as office, and there is generous storage area in stern. We have 220V mains and 24V battery system. There is a chimney for wood burner. Can be sold furnished or not as needed. The survey runs until Sept 2011 and we have a valid comprehensive insurance.
There is convenient transport from Canada Water tube, buses on Redriff Rd and the Thames Clipper ferry
We would welcome and consider offers. We are retiring from teaching in London and no longer need our lovely pied a terre. There is a great community spirit among the bertholders on the dock.
Ample deck space, good for sitting out and entertaining. |
